Key Stage 1 and EYFS

Welcome to EYFS and Key Stage 1 Online Safety

Online safety is of paramount importance for young children between the ages of 4 and 7. At this tender age, children are beginning to explore the digital world, often without fully understanding the potential risks. They may inadvertently access inappropriate content, share sensitive information, or interact with strangers. Therefore, it’s crucial to educate them about online safety. This includes teaching them to keep personal information private, to only interact with known and trusted individuals, and to avoid clicking on suspicious links. Additionally, parental controls and child-friendly platforms can be used to create a safer online environment. Ultimately, fostering a culture of online safety can help protect these young digital citizens from potential harm, while allowing them to benefit from the vast educational and recreational resources available on the internet.
